The Association for Hospital Case Management Professionals
Compare AD was developed through the vision, work and leadership of ACMA and the association’s leaders. ACMA is a nonprofit
professional membership organization, created to support the practice of Hospital/Health System Case Management. Compare AD is
only one of the services developed by ACMA to advance the practice of hospital case management.
:: Value of ACMA Membership
Key benefits of ACMA membership include:
- Networking - Through ACMA’s Learning Link electronic list serve, members can network with over 2,000 other case management
professionals nationwide at many leading organizations.
- Education - ACMA hosts 18 regional educational conferences around the country each year and the Annual ACMA Leadership Conference.
ACMA also holds its Annual Meeting and additional educational events in conjunction with the Annual NICM Case Management Conference.
Additional education is available online, in ACMA's weekly e-newsletter, and through periodic webinars on key topics.
- Publications - ACMA publications include the quarterly educational journal Collaborative Case Management and the
Standards of Practice & Scope of Services for Hospital/Health System Case Management.
- Benchmarking & Research - In addition to developing the Compare AD system to provide national benchmarking for
avoidable delays, ACMA also biennially conducts the National Hospital Case Management Survey which produces the only source of
national benchmarking data for hospital case management with a 95% confidence level. Between National Surveys, ACMA conducts in-depth
correlative studies utilizing this data and produces reports as part of its Hospital Case Management Research Series.
